Quartz Crystals

These are some quartz crystals from my mineral collection. I figured they make a nice first pic for the blog. This image was taken with my Canon SLR using a 65mm macro lens. Lighting is tricky with this macro lens as the camera lens was within few inches of the subject. A tripod and a release cable came in handy.
